stash: Out of the Box celebrates the stash 3 project with an art therapy prompted art activity, art panel with stash artists and an artist talk by Tara Karaim.
Meet the Panel
Facilitator, Kaley Wajcman, Art Therapist
“You may be thinking, “What if I’m not good at art?” Luckily, you don’t have to be! Art Therapy can provide a safe way to process emotions by indirectly talking about them through art “prompts.” Together we’ll build a sense of trust, safety & rapport so you feel comfortable exploring emotions through the art making process.”

Stash3
Stash is a dialogue between artists and the community, exchanging materials and ideas via artmaking. The project includes artists of all levels of experience from in and outside of the Kansas City metro area. Each artist received an envelope of similar materials from which they created an original artwork. This project was created in partnership with the Arts Council of Johnson County and visual artist Justin Border with program support courtesy Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission.
Stash 3 is now on view at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center! The exhibition can be viewed during AHC business hours now through April 13th.
