{"id":24285,"date":"2022-10-03T15:06:52","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T15:06:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artsjoco.org\/acjc\/?p=24285"},"modified":"2022-10-03T15:06:54","modified_gmt":"2022-10-03T15:06:54","slug":"values-statement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artsjoco.org\/acjc\/values-statement\/","title":{"rendered":"Values Statement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The Arts Council of Johnson County&#8217;s vision is to be recognized for its effectiveness in promoting the cultural and economic development of Johnson County through the arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for Johnson County by strengthening the arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">ACJC&#8217;s work is guided by our mission and core values: <strong>community, creativity, quality of life<\/strong> and <strong>stewardship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Our programs, convenings and advocacy have a responsibility to contribute to a more diverse, connected, and inclusive <strong>community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The power of <strong>creativity<\/strong> inspires, innovates, and opens us to new perspectives of how we view ourselves, share ideas, and solve problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The arts are essential to the health and well-being of our community, strengthen our economy, and ensure an equitable <strong>quality of life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Inclusive and collaborative <strong>stewardship <\/strong>that nurtures and grows our creative industries for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">The ACJC staff and board began workshops in 2019 to help us learn, develop, and implement strategies around building a more equitable, diverse and inclusive organization.
